Job summary

Assystem, a leading nuclear engineering group, is seeking a skilled Project Scheduler to lead planning, production and management of schedules across complex programmes. You will coordinate work packages, track milestones and manage resources, while overseeing subcontractor programmes to ensure alignment with objectives.

Ideally you bring NEC4 contract awareness, a strong track record with Primavera P6, and expertise in Excel and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Primavera P6 experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and MS Project.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills to present project progress and risks clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to challenge contractor submissions.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, production and management of project schedules across complex programmes.
• Coordinate work packages, track progress against milestones and manage resource planning.
• Oversee and review subcontractor programmes for accuracy and alignment with objectives.
• Engage with stakeholders to report on progress, risks, opportunities and changes.
• Support bid and proposal activities through manhour estimating and planning input.
• Produce clear project reporting including critical path analysis and performance metrics for senior leadership.
