This opportunity will allow the successful candidate to work within an integrated project controls team helping to deliver an annual £m programme of nuclear work. The role sits within our global business area Resilience. We work to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations. Around the world, we're feeling the effects of climate change, rapid urbanization, and loss of biodiversity. The rate at which we're seeing large-scale, unforeseen events such as floods and wildfires is becoming more frequent. We are here to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Developing baseline and detailed project schedules to support the delivery of complex engineering and construction programmes in compliance with company standards.
  2. Managing and reporting on critical path analysis, assessing and reporting subcontractor programmes for approval by the Project Manager.
  3. Utilising expert knowledge of earned value management to support the broader project controls team in delivering accurate cost forecasts for the client. Assisting Project Managers in producing monthly performance reports.
  4. Working on live contracts and projects during the pre-contract phase to provide expert assessment of contractors' tender programmes.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Experience with P6 scheduling software.
  • Schedule planning, forecasting, and reporting skills.
  • Construction background.
  • Experience with NEC 3 suite of contracts, options A, C, and E.
  • Ideally, experience with NEC 4 suite of contracts.
  • Experience working within the Nuclear sector or on public sector projects within a regulated environment (e.g., water, rail, aviation).
  • Experience working as part of an integrated delivery team.
