Job summary

Bio Capital is seeking a Site Operator at Energen Biogas in Cumbernauld to support daily operations of a renewable energy plant. The role involves basic maintenance, cleaning, lab testing, and machinery operation within a 42.12-hour weekly shift pattern (4 on, 4 off) across a team-focused, safety-driven environment.

Ideal candidates will have SCADA experience, be able to work outdoors, and hold a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience operating SCADA systems and monitoring industrial processes.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to operate in outdoor environments.
• Proficient with computers and basic software.
• Ability to use own initiative and work independently.
• Capable of identifying hazards and reporting risks in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming loads and support AD Operations daily.
• Work as part of a team to meet KPI targets and company budget.
• Take samples for laboratory testing and record plant performance data.
• Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Operate plant machinery and report defects promptly.
