Job summary

Astute People is recruiting a Biogas Site Operator for a renewable energy plant near Mansfield, England. The role offers a salary of up to £35,000 per annum with an excellent benefits package.

You will help run the anaerobic digestion plant, perform basic maintenance, operate mobile plant, and participate in on-call duties while upholding strong health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous operator experience in a similar processing environment.
• First line maintenance experience.
• Agricultural experience is highly desired.
• Great work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Support with the day to day running of the anaerobic digestion plant.
• Carrying out basic first line maintenance, such as isolating and changing pumps.
• Operating mobile plant, such as a telehandler or loading shovel.
• Take part in the on-call rota.
• Monitoring the pant via the SCADA.
• Keeping the site clean and tidy.
• Maintaining high levels of health & safety.

Astute’s Renewables team is partnering with a leading producer of biogas to recruit a SiteOperatorfor their renewable energy plant near Mansfield.

The Site Operative plays a vital part in ensuring the site is run correctly and high standards of health & safety are maintained. The role comes with a salary of up to £35,000 and excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities and duties of the Biogas Site Operator role

Reporting to the Plant Manager you will:

• Support with the day to day running of the anaerobic digestion plant
• Carrying out basic first line maintenance, such as isolating and changing pumps
• Operating mobile plant, such as a telehandler or loading shovel
• Take part in the on-call rota
• Monitoring the pant via the SCADA
• Keeping the site clean and tidy
• Maintaining high levels of health & safety
• Other duties as required

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Telehandler/Loading Shovel/Tractor Licence or in-house training
• Engineering qualification/certificate is desired
• Full UK Driving Licence
