Job summary

Acorn by Synergie recruiting a Site Operative to join a small team at Avonmouth Old Dock, Avonmouth, Bristol BS11 9DL. This multi-functional role centers on grain intake, weighing, and quality control, with training to develop milling skills toward a Miller.

You’ll work 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, with shifts flexing between 6am and 6pm and on-site free parking. Training will cover milling functions, sampling, and testing to ensure product quality.

Qualifications

• Teamwork within a small team environment.
• Adherence to health and safety, food safety and quality procedures.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform silo duties from wheat intake to out-loading and packaging.
• Support weighbridge operations and maintain stock records.
• Assist Millers with equipment operation, plant systems and finished product handling.
• Carry out hygiene duties to meet company and food safety standards.
• Conduct sampling and analysis of materials to meet quality standards.
• Maintain records and support process control systems.
