Job Introduction

Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Site Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities. Typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks, and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient, and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train.

Shifts run between: 07:30 - 16:00 from Monday to Friday

Hours of work: 37

Contract: Permanent

Location: Longmoor Camp, Liss, Hampshire, GU33 6EL

Main Responsibilities

• Looking after the camp's general cleanliness, ensuring it is fit for purpose
• Cleaning offices, communal facilities, and accommodation blocks, including ablutions and shower blocks
• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
• Managing the handover and hand back process of accommodation blocks
• General building maintenance
• Conducting preventative maintenance checks
• Basic grounds maintenance
• Stock management tasks
• Complete all relevant documentation utilizing both IT and paper-based systems
• Carry out any other additional requirements as needed

The Ideal Candidate

• General housekeeping and caretaking knowledge
• Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrate a proven track record of achieving objectives
