The Role

We’re recruiting a Site Operative to work at our busy household recycling centre. Your responsibilities will include assisting the public with recycling their household waste, greeting customers, promoting health and safety, and ensuring site safety.

You will be part of a friendly team and contribute to your local community.

We encourage eagerness to learn on the job and offer opportunities for further qualifications such as first aid and health and safety accreditation.

Key Duties

• Ensure the site is safe and report health and safety issues
• Promote safety by wearing a body-camera for site safety
• Use digital devices to manage bookings, vouchers, and electronic payments
• Maintain a clean and safe site, reinforce site rules
• Perform sweeping, litter picking, and spill cleanup
• Provide excellent customer service and inform customers about site duties
