hireful in Yarmouth seeks an experienced Site Operations Manager to drive safe, efficient operations and maximise asset output while delivering OTIF products. The role is hands-on, supporting operations to ensure orders meet stringent health and safety standards.

This position is Monday to Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with flexibility required for a role of this seniority. You will build, train and develop the site team and manage cross-functional collaboration to achieve objectives.

Formación

• Health and safety qualification, preferably NEBOSH.
• Experience leading an operational function in heavy industry/manufacturing.
• Strong management skills to engage, lead and train a workforce.
• Hands-on in operations including FLT/cranes when needed.
• Resilient, self-motivated, able to work under pressure.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsabilidades

• Develop a safety-first approach ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental standards.
• Lead the Operations Team to maximise assets and efficiency.
• Embed a customer-focused, continuous improvement culture through collaboration.
• Recruit, train and develop site team; manage performance and reward.
• Formulate and manage the annual operational budget to secure resources.
• Ensure communication between operations, planning and commercial functions to meet demand within capacity.
• Oversee transport operations and logistics.
• Proactively implement improvements and future workforce planning.
