Job summary

Taylor Wimpey plc is seeking a Site Manager to lead construction operations, ensuring on-time, defect-free delivery within cost parameters. The role includes acting as Designated Individual Principal Contractor under Building Safety Act and overseeing safety and quality across the site.

You will manage pre-planning, progress monitoring, and safety compliance, ensuring operatives hold required certifications and that sub-contractors submit method statements and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Extensive building and construction experience.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Cost controls and site budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Produce and monitor detailed construction plans and programmes.
• Oversee pre-planning, roads/sewers, show area build programmes.
• Ensure site safety, compliance, and proper certification of operatives.
• Review weekly progress reports and drive on-time delivery.
