Job summary

Wright Engineering is recruiting for plating and fitting roles across UK sites. The team works on new-build, maintenance and overhaul projects including power, waste and industrial facilities. The roles involve installation, on-site fabrication and equipment maintenance with a strong safety focus.

Salary starts at £22.47/hour including away and sustenance allowances; overtime and Sunday rates apply, plus a pension, generous holiday entitlement, and a loyalty scheme for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience of working on medium to heavy engineering.
• Ability to read engineering GA drawings.
• Experience installing and maintaining conveyors and ash handling equipment.
• On-site fabrication and modifications experience.
• Installation of new equipment and repairs to old.
• Commitment to high safety standards.
• MEWP/Loadall/Slinger Banksman/PASMA experience; training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Work on sites across the UK on new-build, maintenance and overhaul projects.
• Install and maintain equipment such as conveyors and ash handling systems.
• Perform on-site fabrication and modifications as required.
• Assist with installation of new equipment and repairs to existing systems.
• Adhere to the highest safety standards on all projects.
