Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is seeking a Site Manager for a Yorkshire Water project with an immediate start. The role requires a strong civil engineering background and proven water industry experience to deliver site operations safely and on schedule.

The ideal candidate will manage subcontractors and site teams, conduct toolbox talks, and maintain RAMS, permits and documentation while liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure quality and programme adherence.

Qualifications

• CSCS card (Black or Gold) required.
• SMSTS qualification required.
• Yorkshire Water or water industry experience is essential.
• Strong civil engineering background.
• Experience managing water infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Good understanding of RAMS, health and safety and quality requirements.
• IT literate.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day site operations.
• Supervising subcontractors and site teams.
• Conducting toolbox talks.
• Liaising with client and stakeholders.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Managing RAMS, permits and site documentation.
• Coordinating labour, plant and materials.
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.
• Monitoring quality and maintaining site records.
• Reporting progress to the Project Manager.
