Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a Site Manager for a traditional build development in Surrey. You will own the build, drive progress and ensure standards are met within a major PLC housebuilder environment.

The role requires strong experience in residential construction, NHBC compliance, and ability to coordinate trades while maintaining programme discipline. A background in PLC/volume housing is preferred and the successful candidate will join an established site underway.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Manager in residential housebuilding.
• Prefer PLC/volume housebuilder background.
• Strong knowledge of traditional build and NHBC requirements.
• Ability to organise trades, manage quality and control programme.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day running of the site and deliver against programme.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and materials to maintain progress.
• Ensure build quality meets NHBC standards and company expectations.
• Maintain strong health & safety standards and carry out site inspections.
• Monitor plot progression, resolve issues and keep the wider team informed.
