Job summary

Apex Resources Ltd currently requires an experienced Site Manager/Supervisor for a major civils project in Sheffield, S9. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of civil engineering/groundworks projects, including roads, sewers and all associated infrastructure works.

Immediate start available with a 6+ month duration. Pay rates: Site Manager £300 per day / Supervisor £260 per day. Working hours are 07:30–18:00, Monday to Friday. Own transport is desirable (parking available).

Qualifications

• Civils & Groundworks site experience is a MUST.
• Valid SMSTS/SSSTS certificate.
• Valid Black/Gold CSCS managers/supervisors card.
• Valid First Aid certificate.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Strong RAMS, permits and site safety knowledge.
• Able to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Previous experience on major infrastructure projects highly desirable.
• Previous on-the-tools civils experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day civil works including roads, sewers and infrastructure.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site teams to maintain schedule.
• Ensure RAMS compliance and site safety procedures.
• Maintain quality, safety and environmental standards on site.
• Report progress to senior site management.
