Job summary

Connolly Ltd is recruiting an experienced Site Manager to lead social housing refurbishment projects across occupied properties in Huddersfield and surrounding areas. You will oversee kitchen/bathroom replacements, internal refurbishments and planned improvements, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery while coordinating residents and stakeholders.

You will manage direct labour and subcontractors, maintain site records and drive improvements with a strong focus on residents’ experiences

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in construction, refurbishment or planned works.
• Experience delivering projects within social housing and occupied properties.
• Strong leadership with direct labour and subcontractor management.
• Confident in programme delivery, quality, health & safety and site performance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Organised, proactive and able to resolve issues effectively.
• SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and a Full UK Driving Licence essential.
• CSCS Card and Asbestos Awareness desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day site activities, resources and materials.
• Monitor quality, carry out inspections and ensure defects are resolved.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures, including site inductions, RAMS and toolbox talks.
• Track project progress and provide updates to clients and internal teams.
• Work closely with residents and stakeholders to maintain a positive customer experience.
• Maintain accurate site records and proactively resolve site issues.

Due to continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, Connolly Ltd is looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our Social Housing team.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of refurbishment projects across occupied homes, delivering improvements that have a direct impact on residents and communities. Typical works include kitchen and bathroom replacement programmes, internal refurbishments, and planned improvement works.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage social housing refurbishment projects from start to completion
