Job summary

Connolly Ltd in Manchester and surrounding areas is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead refurbishment projects in occupied social housing, delivering kitchens, bathrooms, and internal upgrades that directly impact residents and communities.

You will oversee day-to-day site delivery, manage direct labour and subcontractors, ensure safety and quality, and work with residents, clients and commercial teams to keep works on programme and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Manager in refurbishment/construction.
• Social housing refurbishment experience preferred, ideally in occupied properties.
• Ability to manage direct labour and subcontractors.
• Strong emphasis on programme, quality and health & safety.
• Excellent communication with residents and clients.
• Full UK driving licence.
• SMSTS and First Aid at Work required; Asbestos Awareness desirable; CSCS card where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day delivery of refurbishment projects.
• Plan and coordinate site activities to keep on programme.
• Manage direct labour, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor labour and resources to meet programme demands.
• Ensure kitchen, bathroom and general refurbishment works meet quality standards.
• Maintain safety, RAMS and day-to-day site compliance.
• Record progress and attend client/progress meetings.
• Coordinate materials, deliveries and site logistics.
