Job summary

Bamford Contract Services Ltd is recruiting a hands-on Site Manager to oversee social housing kitchen refurbishment projects in the Preston area. You will coordinate multiple trades, manage around ten kitchens weekly, and ensure work is completed safely, to schedule and to a high standard.

The role requires proven site management experience within social housing or housing refurbishment, plus SMSTS and First Aid certifications.

Qualifications

• Previous Site Management experience.
• Proven experience within social housing / housing refurbishment.
• Experience managing kitchen refurbishment or kitchen installation projects.
• Experience managing multiple trades.
• Ability to manage a programme of approximately 10 kitchens per week.
• SMSTS.
• First Aid.
• Asbestos Awareness.
• Manual Handling.

Responsibilities

• Managing and coordinating multi-trade teams on site
• Overseeing kitchen refurbishment and installation programmes
• Managing approximately 10 kitchens per week
• Coordinating subcontractors and trades
• Monitoring progress and ensuring programmes are maintained
• Carrying out regular site inspections and quality checks
• Ensuring all works comply with health & safety requirements
• Liaising with residents, clients, subcontractors and the project team
• Dealing with any site issues and resolving problems efficiently
• Maintaining site records and reporting on progress
• Ensuring works are completed to the required specification and standard
