Job summary

Correct Contract Services Ltd. seeks a Site Manager to lead retrofit projects across the UK social housing sector. You will manage on-site operatives, CDM compliance, and client liaison to deliver energy efficiency improvements end-to-end.

Key duties include programme delivery, quality audits, and reporting to the contracts manager. Experience in energy retrofit preferred; SMSTS/SSSTS with H&S awareness required.

Qualifications

• SMSTS/SSSTS qualification with awareness of CDM and H&S.
• Experience on social housing energy retrofit or large contracts.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical or fabric installations.
• Auditing experience to verify quality and compliance.
• Experience with energy efficiency and retrofitting projects preferred.
• Experience with insulation or building fabric works.

Responsibilities

• Manage retrofit projects on social housing sites within the UK.
• Oversee site programmes, sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure CDM compliance and on-site H&S practices.
• Liaise with residents, clients and contracts manager.
• Report progress, variations and KPIs to the project team.
• Conduct QC checks and ensure sign-offs meet PAS2035:2023.
• Run inductions and audits, manage staff discipline and briefings.
• Monitor stock and ordering of site supplies.
• Capture take-offs and valuations weekly for contracts.
• Provide technical guidance and continuous improvement.
• Maintain professional knowledge through workshops and publications.
