Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the final stages of a shop refurbishment project in Bentham, Lancaster. The role focuses on supervising snagging, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring all works progress safely, on time, and to a high standard.

The position is a short-term contract offering £260 per day, 5 days duration, with early start (ASAP) and typical site hours from 7:00am to 4:00pm.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in commercial or retail construction.
• Strong background in building, refurbishment and structural works.
• Experience overseeing wall demolition and structural alterations.
• Excellent communication and site coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple trades and ensure programme delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee completion phase and snagging.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site activities.
• Ensure works are completed safely and on time per programme.
• Maintain health and safety standards and site inspections.
• Liaise with client and project team during completion.
