Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Limited in Bentham, Lancaster, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the final stages of a shop refurbishment project.

This short-term contract runs five days at a rate of £260 per day, starting ASAP, with hours 07:00 to 16:00. You will manage snagging, remove temporary props, supervise structural works, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure works are completed safely on time to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Manager on commercial or retail construction projects.
• Strong background in building refurbishment and structural works.
• Experience overseeing wall demolition and structural alterations.
• Excellent communication and site coordination to manage multiple trades.

Responsibilities

• Managing snagging and final completion works
• Supervising the safe removal of temporary props and scaffolding
• Overseeing structural works within a pharmacy area
• Coordinating subcontractors and site activities
• Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with programme requirements
• Maintaining health & safety standards and site compliance
• Conducting site inspections and quality checks
• Liaising with the client and project team throughout the completion phase
