Job summary

CCS is seeking a Site Supervisor - Retrofit to lead on-site supervision of energy efficiency projects across the UK social housing sector. You will ensure CDM compliance, liaise with clients and residents, coordinate subcontractors and direct labour, and maintain strict health and safety protocols.

You will also manage material and resource planning, conduct toolbox talks, and report progress to the Contracts Manager, ensuring high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) or equivalent.
• Strong technical auditing experience.
• Knowledge of social housing maintenance and large-scale installations.
• Experience in energy efficiency & retrofit projects (preferred).
• Experience in electrical work or building fabric insulation (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical teams and residents.

Responsibilities

• Site Supervision & Project Management: Supervise retrofitting and energy efficiency projects within social housing, ensuring a whole-house improvement approach.
• Client & Resident Liaison: Act as the primary contact for clients and residents, ensuring smooth communication and excellent service.
• Material & Resource Management: Ensure materials, equipment, and labour are available and optimised for each project.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure H&S compliance and risk assessments are conducted and followed, and provide regular reports to the line manager.
