Job summary

Randstad Construction & Property is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a portfolio of high-end residential developments across Sussex. You will own day-to-day site operations, ensure H&S compliance, manage subcontractors, and uphold quality across luxury homes and complex refurbishments.

The role requires local residence within easy commute to Hove, Brighton or Haywards Heath, valid SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and CSCS, with a proven track record in residential new builds,

Qualifications

• Extensive site management experience in residential, new build, refurbishment, and apartments.
• SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and CSCS certifications.
• Strong leadership, health & safety oversight, and subcontractor coordination.
• Must live within commuting distance to Hove, Brighton or Haywards Heath.

Job Title: Site Manager - High-End Residential & Refurbishment

Location: Sussex (Must be local to Hove / Brighton / Haywards Heath)

Position Type: Freelance / Subcontract (Direct CIS Immediate Start Available)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of upcoming and ongoing residential developments across Sussex.

As a privately-owned residential specialist known for delivering high-quality, bespoke builds and sensitive conversions, we pride ourselves on exceptional craftsmanship, rapid decision-making, and strong local site presence.

You will take ownership of site operations across varied residential schemes, including high-spec luxury homes, multi-unit flatted developments, and complex roof/loft conversions.

Key Requirements:

• Location (Essential): Must live locally within easy commuting distance across Hove, Brighton, and Haywards Heath.
• Proven Track Record: Solid Site Management experience across Residential, New Build, Refurbishment, and Apartments/Flats.
• Site Leadership: Full ownership of day‑to‑day site operations, health & safety, subcontractor management, and quality control.
• Certifications: Valid SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and CSCS card.
