Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking a Site Manager to oversee a portfolio of high-end residential developments across Sussex. You will take ownership of day-to-day site operations, health and safety, and subcontractor coordination on new builds, refurbishments, and complex conversions.

The ideal candidate lives locally within easy commuting distance of Hove, Brighton, or Haywards Heath, holds SMSTS, First Aid at Work and CSCS, and can start immediately on a freelance/subcontract basis.

Qualifications

• Location is essential: Must live locally within easy commuting distance across Hove, Brighton, and Haywards Heath.
• Proven track record of Site Management across Residential, New Build, Refurbishment and Apartments/Flats.
• Site leadership with ownership of day-to-day operations, health & safety, subcontractor management, and quality control.
• Certifications: Valid SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and CSCS card.

Job Title: Site Manager - High-End Residential & Refurbishment

Location: Sussex (Must be local to Hove / Brighton / Haywards Heath)

Position Type: Freelance / Subcontract (Direct CIS | Immediate Start Available)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of upcoming and ongoing residential developments across Sussex.

As a privately-owned residential specialist known for delivering high-quality, bespoke builds and sensitive conversions, we pride ourselves on exceptional craftsmanship, rapid decision-making, and strong local site presence.

You will take ownership of site operations across varied residential schemes, including high-spec luxury homes, multi-unit flatted developments, and complex roof/loft conversions.

Key Requirements:

• Location (Essential): Must live locally within easy commuting distance across Hove, Brighton, and Haywards Heath.
• Proven Track Record: Solid Site Management experience across Residential, New Build, Refurbishment, and Apartments/Flats.
• Site Leadership: Full ownership of day-to-day site operations, health & safety, subcontractor management, and quality control.
• Certifications: Valid SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and CSCS card.
