Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee Smart Home and Renewable Energy projects across Scotland, based in Glasgow. You will ensure safe, on-time delivery within budget and to high standards.

You will lead site teams, manage subcontractors, and coordinate with senior teams to resource projects effectively, while maintaining compliance with health and safety and industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in renewable energy construction, retrofit or residential installation.
• Experience managing subcontractors and installation teams.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• SMSTS certification and first aid training.
• Full UK driving licence and clean record.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety and site compliance.

Responsibilities

• Managing site operations, subcontractors and installation teams.
• Providing leadership and ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer service.
• Coordinating with senior management, procurement and supply chain teams to ensure projects are properly planned and resourced.
• Supporting the delivery of renewable energy installations, including Solar PV and Air Source Heat Pumps, with an understanding of whole-house retrofit.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, RAMS, Toolbox Talks and relevant legislation, including PAS 2030 and PAS 2035.
• Monitoring project programmes, progress, costs and quality.
• Producing regular project reports and chairing site meetings.
• Managing customer queries and resolving issues efficiently.
• Ensuring quality, environmental and health & safety procedures are followed and accurately recorded.
• Keeping up to date with relevant industry regulations, HSE, Ofgem and retrofit requirements.

Site Manager - Glasgow - Salary up to £45,000 Plus car allowance DOE

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a growing team delivering Smart Home and Renewable Energy projects across Scotland.

As Site Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the successful day-to-day delivery of projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on programme, within budget and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing site operations, subcontractors and installation teams.

Person Specification:

• Previous experience within renewable energy construction, retrofit or residential installation (Desirable)


• Experience managing subcontractors and installation teams


• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

• Flexibility to travel and stay away from home across Scotland

Salary & Benefits:
