Job summary

Site Manager role based in Cheshire overseeing a major recycling and fuel production site. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team to ensure safe, compliant operations, maximise uptime and drive performance across safety, production, quality and costs.

You must hold WAMITAB/COTC qualification, IOSH or equivalent, and a Level 5 leadership credential. The role demands strong leadership, budgeting ability and excellent stakeholder engagement with customers and contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience managing site operations in recycling, waste, or fuel production.
• WAMITAB/COTC qualification is essential.
• IOSH or equivalent safety qualification.
• Strong leadership with team and stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage budgets and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, compliant and efficient operation of the site.
• Deliver production to meet quality, volume and customer demand.
• Champion Health, Safety and Environmental standards across site operations.
• Use KPIs and data to drive performance across safety, production, quality and cost.
• Manage relationships with customers and plant operators at a senior level.
• Coordinate maintenance to maximise plant availability and minimise downtime.
• Control budgets and optimise resources for cost-effective operations.
• Identify continuous improvement initiatives, including waste reduction and efficiency gains.
