Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager (Groundworks / Civils) to lead nationwide civils and groundworks projects from Manchester to nationwide sites. The role involves autonomy on site, managing safety, sub-contractors, and ensuring projects run to programme and budget.

The successful candidate will have groundworks/civils background, CSCS, and a willingness to travel and stay away. Opportunities for progression to senior site or contracts management are available.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager who enjoys working in a faced paced environment with lots of variety delivering new build petrol forecourt and retail stores. You will have total autonomy, allowing you to take total control of sites.

This contractor specialises in delivering high-quality civils and groundworks schemes nationwide, with project values up to 2 million. Projects are mainly within petrol stations, Car Parks, EV chargers and retail stores. They're renowned for working with reputable brands like Starbucks, KFC, Greggs etc and looking for a site manager to assist with their groundworks focused projects.

You will be number 1 on site reporting to the contracts manager. You will be responsible for liaising with clients, maintaining site safety, managing subcontractors and ensure projects are running to budget and deadlines.

This is a great chance for a Site Manager who likes to have variety by travelling to different sites working on different projects within an autonomous role where you can progress your career to Contracts Manager.

This is a roaming Site Manager position so it important you are willing to stay away from home, the company will offer a full expensed Van / Electrical vehicle, Overnight stay, holidays and private healthcare.

The Role:

• Site Manager
• Managing Groundworks and Commercial projects for a main contractor
• UK wide sites with national travel
• Management of sub-contractors, organising labour, ensuring health and safety onsite, following programme
• projects running from 6-16 weeks at a time

The Person:

• Experienced Site Manager with some Groundworks / Civils experience
• Experience manging construction projects up to 2M
• CSCS essential
• Happy to stay away and travel
