Job summary

px Group seeks a Site Manager for the Saltend site. You will manage site teams across Mechanical, Piping, EC&I and Civil/Structural works, plan mobilisation, ensure safety and compliance with px Group SHE rules, and coordinate with the Construction Manager to deliver on time and within budget.

You will oversee welfare, documentation, and plant readiness, conduct regular site audits, manage subcontractor RAMS, and support project delivery through effective leadership and communication.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in technical or engineering disciplines.
• Knowledge of COSHH and health & safety requirements.
• Experience as Site Manager with ability to produce Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Lift Plans.
• Excellent communication and ability to coordinate across multiple teams and organisations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct daily site operations including mechanical, civil and electrical works.
• Coordinate permits to work, hot works and working at height.
• Lead site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Monitor progress, budgets and resource requirements to meet schedules.
• Record site attendance, plant usage, and delays; report milestones to management.
• Ensure site documents, risk assessments, RAMS and lift plans are maintained.
