Job summary

Axis CLC Group is seeking a proactive Site Manager to lead major works across North London and surrounding areas. You will oversee refurbishment and planned maintenance in occupied social housing, ensuring safety, quality and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include coordinating access, managing subcontractors, and maintaining programme and cost control while liaising with residents and the project team to minimise disruption.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing major works, refurbishment or planned maintenance projects in occupied housing.
• Strong technical knowledge of building fabric, refurbishment sequencing, and safety on occupied sites.
• Understand CDM Regulations and review RAMS and safe systems of work.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades on live sites.
• Excellent client-facing and resident liaison skills.
• Competent with Microsoft Office and digital site record systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day management of major works, refurbishment and planned maintenance in occupied homes.
• Plan, coordinate access, labour, materials, and site logistics to ensure smooth delivery.
• Ensure safety, quality, programme, cost control and resident satisfaction.
• Review RAMS, inductions and toolbox talks; maintain site records and reports.
• Monitor progress against programme and manage subcontractor performance.
• Liaise with Guinness, residents and project team to minimise disruption.
