Job summary

Axis CLC Group is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead social housing refurbishment works from its Dartford office. You will oversee delivery of kitchens, bathrooms, and roofing projects, coordinating subcontractors while ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion in occupied properties.

The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, a proactive approach, and a full UK driving licence. A company vehicle and comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing planned maintenance or refurbishment works, ideally kitchens and bathrooms.
• Strong experience managing subcontractor-led delivery in occupied properties.
• Good working knowledge of health & safety regulations and site compliance.
• Experience working within social housing or occupied environments.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple plots and workstreams.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with residents, subcontractors, clients and internal teams.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach to site management.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).

• Work closely with Resident Liaison Officers, clients, and internal teams to support smooth delivery.
• Manage site logistics, materials, access arrangements, and maintain accurate site records.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager for social housing refurbishment works, based from Dartford office, delivering kitchens, bathrooms and roofing programmes across social housing properties. This role will focus on the day-to-day management of subcontractor delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, to programme, and to the required quality standards.

The Site Manager is responsible for coordinating site activity, managing subcontractors, and working closely with Resident Liaison Officers, clients, and internal teams to ensure a smooth and positive experience for residents.

• Proven experience managing planned maintenance or refurbishment works, ideally kitchens and bathrooms.
• Strong experience managing subcontractor-led delivery in occupied properties.
• Good working knowledge of health & safety regulations and site compliance.
• Experience working within social housing or occupied environments.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple plots and workstreams.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with residents, subcontractors, clients and internal teams.

• Full UK driving licence (essential).
