Job summary

Bridges - Trusted Intelligent Engineering Partner is seeking an experienced M&E site supervisor to manage electrical and mechanical installations across our South West Water and Wessex Water frameworks, ensuring CDM compliance and high quality across sites.

This 40-hour-per-week role includes mentoring electricians and apprentices, promoting Bridges values, and maintaining professional conduct as an ambassador for Bridges on client sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing M&E sites.
• Experience in a civil / utilities environment.
• Gold Card CSCS.
• SMSTS
• Appropriate trade certificate/qualification
• Good client management and communication skills

Responsibilities

• To be responsible for managing M&E installations in accordance with Bridges Health & Safety Rules and Essential Standards and industry regulations
• Ensure that all Health and Safety legislation and regulations are adhered to by the site teams
• Ensure that all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project's quality plan and inspection and test plans
• To follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment
• To coach and mentor Electricians, Electrical Improvers/Mates and Apprentices
• Promote and demonstrate the Bridges' values when dealing with peers, staff, customers, and clients
• Promote positive health and wellbeing amongst peers
• To act in a professional manner and be an ambassador for Bridges, supporting the business goals and maintaining the company's positive reputation
