Job summary

Bridges is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex engineering projects in the UK. You will manage staff and subcontractors, ensuring safety, schedule adherence and budget control while coordinating with clients and stakeholders.

The role requires experience in industrial M&E or MEICA, strong planning skills, and familiarity with NEC contracts. A driving licence and hybrid work from Midsomer Norton are expected.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience in an industrial M&E / MEICA environment.
• Experience managing engineering projects ideally within the water industry.
• Strong understanding of project planning, monitoring, and control methodologies.
• Proficiency with project planning tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
• Sound knowledge of health & safety legislation and company procedures.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience working with NEC contracts.
• Desirable City & Guilds qualification or equivalent in a technical discipline.
• Desirable SMSTS and/or IOSH Managing Safely certification.

Responsibilities

• Management of staff and subcontractors on assigned projects.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex engineering projects.
• Ensure safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence.
• Create and manage project documentation and monthly reporting.
• Close liaison with the Client and other stakeholders.
• Proactively manage environmental impact.
