Job summary

Bigblue in Chichester, West Sussex, seeks a Site Manager for the final six months of a £16m luxury residential project. You’ll own the high-end internal fit-out and finishes in an 8,000 sq ft private home with pool and bespoke detailing, managing specialist subcontractors and coordinating trades under a visiting Project Manager.

You’ll drive programme milestones, review drawings, maintain safety standards, and oversee snagging to handover.

Site Manager – Luxury Residential

Chichester, West Sussex

£60,000–£70,000 + Package

I’m working with an established High End Residential contractor on a £16m luxury new build near Chichester, and they need an experienced Site Manager to take the reins for the final six months.

All the heavy construction is pretty much done, so this is the best part of the job. You’ll take full ownership of the high-end internal fit-out and finishes, turning an impressive 8,000 sq ft building into a seriously special private home, with an outdoor swimming pool, outbuildings and some exceptional bespoke detailing along the way.

You’ll be the main person on site, managing specialist subcontractors, coordinating trades and keeping the programme moving, with a visiting Project Manager behind you. It’s real autonomy to run the job properly, with support when you need it.

And it doesn’t stop there. They’ve got a strong pipeline of high-end residential work coming through, with future schemes in Godalming, Southampton and Winchester, so there’s a genuine chance to build something longer term.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on high-end or luxury residential projects
• Strong background in high-end fit-out, bespoke finishes and the final stages of residential construction
• A genuine eye for detail and an understanding of the quality expected on multi-million-pound private homes
• Confident managing specialist subcontractors and multiple trades at once
• Able to read technical drawings, manage programmes and spot issues before they cause delays
• Comfortable running a site independently with support from a visiting PM
• Based within a sensible commute of Chichester, with flexibility for future projects across Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex
