Job summary

TSR Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Site Manager – Dry Lining Contractor based in Leeds. The role focuses on overseeing drywall and ceiling packages on a commercial project with a long-term 5-year outlook.

You will manage subcontractors and direct labour, ensure quality control, maintain QA records, and report progress to the Operations Manager. Occasional travel to the Northeast is required; car allowance is provided alongside a £50,000 salary.

Qualifications

• A strong technical knowledge of drywall and ceilings.
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications are preferred.
• Experience delivering similar drylining/ceiling packages on commercial projects.
• Willingness to work away from home for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee drywall and ceiling packages on a commercial project.
• Manage sub-contractors and direct labour; provide technical guidance as needed.
• Oversee quality control and upload all relevant information.
• Update/add photos on the QA system.
• Report to the Operations Manager and update on-site progress.
• Attend Site Management meetings and brief main contractors.
• Order materials and plant for site.
• Carry out toolbox talks and ensure health and safety processes are followed.
• Work away from home, primarily in the Northeast.

Job Role & Responsibilities of the Site Manager

• Oversee drywall and ceiling packages on a commercial project
• Manage sub-contractors and direct labour offering technical advice when needed.
• Oversee quality control and upload all relevant information.
• Update / add photos on to the QA system
• Reporting into the Operations Manager regularly update on site progress.
• Attend Site Management meetings and update main contractors.
• Order materials and plant for site
• Carry out toolbox talks and ensure health and safety processes are followed
• Work is working away mainly in the Northeast

Knowledge/Experience:

• A strong technical knowledge on drywall and ceilings.
