Job summary

TSR Recruitment Limited is seeking a Site Manager for a dry lining contractor in Leeds. The role oversees drywall and ceiling packages on a commercial project, manages subcontractors, ensures quality control, updates QA with photos, and reports progress to the Operations Manager.

Travel to the Northeast is required. Ideal candidates will have SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications, strong drywall/ceiling knowledge, and willingness to work away from home.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge on drywall and ceilings.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First aid qualifications.
• Preferably a fixer by trade.
• Willing to work away from home.
• Proven track record delivering similar projects.
• Good IT skills, field view experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee drywall and ceiling packages on a commercial project.
• Manage sub-contractors and direct labour, offering technical advice.
• Oversee quality control and upload relevant information.
• Update/add photos on the QA system.
• Report on site progress to the Operations Manager.
• Attend Site Management meetings and update main contractors.
• Order materials and plant for site.
• Carry out toolbox talks and enforce health and safety processes.
• Work away mainly in the Northeast.

Job Role & Responsibilities of the Site Manager

• Oversee drywall and ceiling packages on a commercial project

• Reporting into the Operations Manager regularly update on site progress.
