Wates Residential is a developer-contractor involved in investing, developing, building, and selling quality affordable housing, often in partnership with Local Authorities, Registered Providers, and public bodies like Homes England.

About the Role

Our Site Managers are key to our success, ensuring quality, safety, health, and environmental standards. They work closely with Project Managers to complete projects to the highest standards.

As a Site Manager, your responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining accurate site records, daily diaries, and weekly progress reports.
2. Reviewing design drawings for buildability and coordination.
3. Managing the flow of subcontractor design information, supporting the Project Manager, and monitoring performance against programmes.
4. Monitoring project progress against the contract schedule and discussing recovery plans with the Project Manager.
