Our client is an award-winning, residential developer renowned for building high-quality, unique projects in London and the surrounding home counties.

They are seeking an experienced, diligent Site Manager to join them ASAP on an ongoing freelance basis. Candidates must have a proven background in managing heritage projects and Grade II listed buildings. The role involves overseeing the preservation and fit-out of a historic building within a large new build development near Enfield.

This position requires a proactive approach, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. The contract could last up to 12 months, with potential extension due to company growth.

As the Site Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Senior Directors to ensure the project meets the highest standards.

Roles & Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate all project aspects between the design team and on-site subcontractors.
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Anticipate potential risks related to budgets and costs.
  • Plan and sequence work weeks in advance to mitigate risks concerning labor, equipment, materials, and resources.
  • Proactively schedule and conduct weekly meetings with Directors and relevant team members, documenting and distributing meeting minutes.
  • Prepare and produce regular reports and updates, including work schedules, programs, implementations, deviations, and risk-related items.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements for internal systems and workflows.
