Job summary

O'Neill & Brennan are recruiting a Site Manager to supervise the civil and external works for a new high rise residential project in Bury. The role requires experience on large scale projects and a minimum of five years in a foreman or supervisor position.

You will work with engineers and project managers to deliver externals, manage labour and planning, and ensure groundworks, drainage, concrete, and landscaping are executed to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience in a similar groundworks role
• Excellent communicator and able to use initiative
• Experience with groundworks, drainage, hard/soft landscaping
• Valid CSCS card and SMSTS
• Experience on large scale groundworks or heavy civils packages

Responsibilities

• Supervise externals package and coordinate with engineers/PM
• Oversee groundworks, drainage, concrete works, foundations and landscaping
• Plan labour and programmes in advance
• Ensure safety and quality on site

The Role:

• Working with Engineers/PM to deliver Externals Package
• Experienced with all aspects of ground works, drainage, ducting, cut & fill etc
• Strong knowledge of concrete works, foundations and walls especially
• Experienced with all elements of hard and soft landscaping
• 278 works
• Managing all labour and planning works in advance

Requirements:

• 5 years' minimum Experience within a similar role in the Groundworks sector.
• Excellent communicator.
• Able to use initiative.
• Valid CSCS and SMSTS card.
• Ability to demonstrate having previously worked on groundworks or heavy civils packages, inc. drainage, hard and soft landscaping, paving, curbing
