Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Site Manager for our Construction team on site in Rainham. You will drive projects safely, on time and to a high quality, coordinating resources and ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability.

In this role you’ll lead operational staff, manage health and safety policies, maintain client relationships and ensure contractual compliance across education, health and defence sectors. A CSCS card and SMSTS are essential.

Qualifications

• CSCS card and SMSTS certification
• Qualification or demonstrable experience in leading operational construction projects
• Professionally qualified or working towards membership of a Professional Body
• Proven experience in a site management role
• Excellent communicator with strong organisational skills and drive to achieve client satisfaction

Responsibilities

• Implement health, safety and environmental policies across the site
• Lead, manage and motivate operational staff to contribute to project success
• Manage communications with customers, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers
• Build and maintain excellent client relationships through to completion
• Implement operational project plans and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions
