Job summary

Sphere Solutions are recruiting a Senior Site Manager - Internals in Cardiff to oversee internal construction and finishing works on a major hotel development, with the potential to move onto a high-value arena project as progress continues.

You will manage day-to-day internal works, coordinate subcontractors and trades, monitor progress against the programme, and ensure workmanship, quality and safety standards are met on site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or Site Manager overseeing internal construction or fit-out packages.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades on commercial, hotel, leisure or other large-scale construction projects.
• Strong understanding of internal finishes, quality control, construction programmes and health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day internal construction works, ensuring activities are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with the project programme
• Coordinating subcontractors and trade contractors across internal packages, including partitions, ceilings, doors, joinery and finishes
• Monitoring progress against programme milestones, identifying potential delays and implementing solutions where required
• Carrying out regular site inspections to ensure workmanship, quality and finishes meet the required standards
• Coordinating internal works with other trades and the wider project team to avoid clashes and maintain progress
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures, site requirements and quality standards
• Reporting on progress, resolving site issues and ensuring internal works are completed to the required programme and specification

A leading construction contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Site Manager - Internals to oversee internal construction and finishing works on a major hotel development in Cardiff, with the opportunity to move onto a high-value arena project as the works progress.

What you'll be doing
