Job summary

Argus Fire, part of Mitie Group, is seeking a Site Manager to oversee the installation, testing and commissioning of fire suppression and detection systems on projects across the UK. The role reports to Project Manager and Operations Manager and requires hands-on leadership on site.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years' experience, strong knowledge of electrical installation practices, BSEN12845, BS990 and BS9251, SMSTS, and a clean UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Site Manager on fire protection projects.
• Competent in IT software, including MS Outlook and MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation practices and relevant BSEN standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day installation, testing and commissioning of fire protection/detection systems.
• Oversee site installation sub-contractors and ensure safety, method statements and risk assessments.
• Deliver regular safety toolbox talks and coordinate with client representatives.
• Liaise with Argus Fire project team and management; perform snagging inspections and paperwork.
• Travel to sites across the UK and manage site activities.
