Job summary

Thomas Gray Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join its growing SME Main Contractor, specialising in cladding remediation and external façade refurbishment. You will lead on-site operations, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to exacting quality standards across occupied residential developments.

The role emphasises communication with residents, adherence to Building Regulations and fire safety, and hands-on supervision of cladding

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on cladding remediation or façade projects.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple trades.
• Excellent communication with clients, residents and project stakeholders.
• Solid knowledge of health & safety regulations and site compliance.
• Ability to maintain programme and budget while delivering quality

Responsibilities

• Manage all site activities from mobilisation through to completion.
• Coordinate the safe removal of existing cladding systems.
• Oversee the installation of new compliant cladding and facade systems.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with design specifications, Building Regulations and fire safety requirements.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site labour.
• Monitor programme and report progress to the Project Manager.
• Maintain health & safety, quality and environmental standards; carry out toolbox talks.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, residents and other stakeholders.
• Manage site documentation, permits, inspections and handover processes.
