Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group is seeking an experienced Site Manager / Site Agent to lead civil engineering and infrastructure projects in the North West, including highways, earthworks, drainage and road construction. You will manage daily site operations, ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery, and coordinate across client teams, engineers and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates will hold SMSTS, CSCS Manager Card, First Aid at Work, a relevant degree or equivalent and have a Full

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or Site Agent within civil engineering.
• Experience delivering highways, major earthworks, bypass schemes, road construction, and general civil engineering projects.
• SMSTS
• CSCS (Manager Card)
• First Aid at Work
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and project specifications.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee highways, road construction, earthworks, drainage, and infrastructure works.

• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and quality documentation.

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager / Site Agent to join our team, delivering major civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the North West greater Manchester region

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in highways, major earthworks, highway alterations, road construction, drainage, and general civil engineering.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Manage the daily running of civil engineering projects.
