Job summary

Randstad CPE, on behalf of a major civil engineering contractor, is seeking a Site Agent to lead major heavy civils projects based in Staffordshire and the West Midlands. You will manage daily site operations, ensure delivery to time, budget, and safety standards, and optimize commercial performance.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognized Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Demonstrate proven experience working as a Site Agent for a contractor within heavy civils or water infrastructure.
• Possess a strong working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, programming, and cost forecasting.
• Hold active credentials including CSCS Managers Card, SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely, TWC, and Confined Space training.

• Manage project construction schedules, 2:week look:ahead programs, RAMS, ITPs, and waste management plans.

About This Role

This Site Agent position offers an outstanding opportunity to manage major heavy civil engineering and infrastructure schemes based out of Staffordshire and the West Midlands. About You

You are an experienced Site Manager or Site Agent with a strong operational background in regulated civil engineering. Your technical knowledge of construction methods is paired with strong leadership, commercial acumen, and effective stakeholder management skills.
