Civil Site Agent
Kent
Up to £60,000


We're currently recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to join a well-established civil engineering contractor operating across the Southern Region. Due to continued growth and new project wins, there's an opportunity for a skilled Site Agent to take the lead on major civils schemes across Kent.
As a Site Agent, you'll be responsible for managing site teams, sub-contractors, and the safe and efficient delivery of heavy civils works, including highways, structures, drainage, and flood defence projects.


Key Responsibilities:
·Oversee site operatives, subcontractors, and site teams as a hands-on Site Agent.
·Produce method statements, risk assessments, and programme updates.
·Coordinate design activities and manage NEC contract changes.
·Monitor budgets and ensure the project is delivered on time and profitably.
·Liaise with stakeholders and maintain excellent client relationships.


Ideal Candidate:
·Demonstrated experience working as a Site Agent on UK-based civil engineering projects.
·Strong background in earthworks, highways, drainage, or flood defence schemes.
·Holds SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid (preferred), and a civil engineering qualification (HNC/HND/BEng).
·Solid understanding of NEC contracts and programme management.
·Tier 1 experience
