Job summary

Sphere Solutions in Truro is looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead a forthcoming residential build, guiding day-to-day operations from inception to completion on a busy site.

You will manage subcontractors, ensure drawings and accessibility requirements are met, and drive safety, quality, and environmental standards across all phases of construction.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a residential Site Manager.
• Valid SMSTS and First Aid at Work.
• Strong technical understanding of detailed architectural drawings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving on site.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Site Manager to lead an upcoming residential build in Truro.

Core Responsibilities

• Take total ownership of day-to-day site operations, managing the build from inception to completion.
• Oversee subcontractors and trades, ensuring adherence to design specifications for disabled adaptations and accessibility features.
• Drive site safety, environmental compliance, and quality standards across all phases of construction.
• Manage site inductions, tool-box talks, RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements), and progress reporting.
• Coordinate material deliveries, scheduling, and sequencing to maintain momentum on a detailed build.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven track record working as a residential Site Manager
• Valid SMSTS and First Aid at Work
• Strong technical understanding of detailed architectural drawings
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities on site.
