Job summary

Sphere Solutions are recruiting an experienced Site Manager to oversee a small works refurbishment and fit-out project at a DWP Job Centre in Trowbridge. You will manage day-to-day construction activities, coordinate subcontractors and trades, and ensure works are delivered safely and to programme.

The role offers an immediate opportunity for an experienced Site Manager on a Trowbridge-based scheme with a competitive rate and a clear path to successful delivery.

Qualifications

• SMSTS certificate required.
• CSCS card required.
• First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily running of the construction site.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site activities.
• Oversee refurbishment, fit-out and small works packages.
• Ensure works align with drawings, specifications and RAMS.
• Monitor programme, quality and site progress.
• Manage site logistics, deliveries and materials.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety.
• Liaise with Project Manager, client and project team.
• Complete site records, inspections and documentation.
• Manage snagging and handover through to completion.

Requirements

• * Previous experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment, fit-out or small works projects.
• * SMSTS - essential.
• * CSCS - essential.* First Aid - essential.
• * Strong health and safety awareness.
• * Good subcontractor and programme management skills.
• * Excellent communication and organisational skills.
