Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London seeks an experienced Site Manager to lead a landmark 70m warehouse development near Tilbury Docks, Essex. You will oversee day-to-day operations from construction through to completion, working with the Project Manager and site team to deliver safely, on programme and to high quality standards.

Responsibilities include managing subcontractors, coordinating trades, conducting site inspections and toolbox talks, reviewing RAMS, and reporting progress.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on warehouse, industrial, logistics, or large-scale commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of steel frame and warehouse construction.
• SMSTS, CSCS Card, and First Aid qualification required.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage programmes and deliver projects safely and efficiently.

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a major contractor on a landmark 70 million warehouse development based near Tilbury Docks, Essex. This Site Manager position offers the chance to work on a large-scale industrial project from construction through to completion, playing a key role in delivering a high-profile scheme within a well-established site team.

About the Role of Site Manager

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a 70m warehouse development in Essex. Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team, you will ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
