Job summary

Wates Property Services is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead planned maintenance and refurbishment programmes across occupied residential properties in Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset on a 7-month fixed-term contract.

You will work with our social housing partner to deliver safe, high-quality projects while maintaining excellent client and resident relationships, reporting on progress, costs and KPI performance. A valid UK driving licence and DBS check are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing planned maintenance projects within the social housing sector.
• Strong knowledge of planned works programmes and occupied properties.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
• Experience managing subcontractors, budgets and project delivery teams.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Due to continued growth and a new social housing programme, Wates Property Services (WPS) is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our Planned Works team on a 7-month fixed-term contract covering Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset.

Working alongside one of our social housing partners, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of planned maintenance and refurbishment programmes across occupied residential properties. Typical works may include kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, windows and doors, energy efficiency improvements, and wider property investment works.

This opportunity would suit a proven Site Manager with a strong background in planned social housing maintenance, who is passionate about delivering safe, high-quality projects while maintaining excellent client and resident relationships.

Drawing on similar internal planned works project manager roles within WPS, the position focuses on safe, profitable and customer-focused project delivery.
