Job summary

Places for People is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee all production on housing sites, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

You will coordinate with Build Managers, subcontractors and internal teams, manage programme delivery and maintain accurate site records, upholding high workmanship standards throughout every stage.

Essential criteria include a valid SMSTS qualification and strong knowledge of traditional build, timber frame or modular construction.

As a Site Manager, you'll oversee all production activities on site, ensuring homes are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with Build Managers, subcontractors and internal teams, you'll coordinate day-to-day site operations, manage programme delivery and drive a positive site culture. You'll ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards, maintain accurate site records and uphold the highest standards of workmanship throughout every stage of the build process.

Essential criteria

• Previous experience working as a Site Manager for a housebuilder delivering fast-paced new build residential developments from inception through to completion.
• Strong understanding of traditional build, timber frame and modular construction methods.
• Valid SMSTS qualification.
