Job summary

Fawkes and Reece is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee day-to-day operations on healthcare/educational/commercial schemes across the South Yorkshire region. You will lead on-site teams, coordinate contractors, and drive programme and cost-control goals with a strong safety focus.

The role requires an industrial construction background, SMSTS/First Aid and a full driving licence, plus a proactive, collaborative leadership style to deliver projects safely and on time.

Qualifications

• Extensive site management experience on industrial new builds.
• Ability to plan complex construction programmes and coordinate labour.
• Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of construction processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and people management skills.
• SMSTS, First Aid, Black Managers CSCS card, asbestos awareness, working at height, scaffold inspection desirable.
• Full driving licence is essential.

• Extensive previous site management experience ideally working on Industrial new builds.
• The proven ability to plan all aspects of complex construction operations and produce robust construction programmes.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes and a keen commercial awareness.
• Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and people management skills. You'll be a friendly, professional, and collaborative point of contact for colleagues, contractors, clients, and all supply chain partners, embodying our partnership approach.
• An academic qualification (HNC, HND, Degree in a construction-related subject) is a distinct advantage, demonstrating your commitment to professional development.
• In-date qualifications and training such as SMSTS, First Aid, Black Managers CSCS card, asbestos awareness, working at height, and scaffold inspection are highly desirable.
