Job summary

Psr-Solutions is assisting a Nottingham-based main contractor to recruit a Site Manager for permanent work. The role focuses on safe delivery to programme, budget, and client satisfaction on design-and-build projects.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage sub-contractors, and drive cost control while maintaining high safety standards on site. A proven track record delivering £10m-£30m schemes is preferred.

Qualifications

• You will ideally have experience of working within the Construction industry, specifically on Design and Build.
• A proven track record delivering projects as a Site Manager up to £10m- £30m in value.
• You will have experience of working for a main contractor as a Site Manager.
• Good communication verbally and in written form.
• Present a clean and tidy site and have a good understanding of the considerate contractor's requirements to achieve high score.

Responsibilities

• Agree programmes and methods of construction with Planners and production staff.
• Marshalling resources for overall control and execution of works, including sub-contractors.

• Establishing and maintaining commercial and financial control systems aligned to contract requirements.

Salary: GBP50000 - GBP65000 per annum

SITE MANAGER MANAGER REQUIRED ON PERMANENT BASIS IN NOTTINGHAM FOR A MAIN CONTRACTOR

I am assisting my client with an exciting opportunity for a Site manager to join a leading main contractor. The business undertake projects in various sectors including specialising in Government sector jobs. e.g Hospitals, Education

As Site Manager you will be responsible for managing projects to ensure the safe completion, in accordance with programme, specification and budget.

Up to £65,000 + Package

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and maintaining the highest standards of safety


• Contributing to the value engineering and build-ability of the project


• Agreement of programmes and methods of construction with Planners and other appropriate production personnel


• Marshalling of resources for the overall control and execution of the works including the selection of sub-contractors to carry out the works


• Ensuring that key dates, resource requirements, production rates, overhead targets etc., are established, monitored and controlled


• Managingmultidisciplinary teams


• Cost Control


• Establishing and maintaining commercial and financial control systems, procedures and standards which will meet the contractual requirements of the projects

Experience and Qualifications:

• You will ideally have experience of working within the Construction industry, specifically on Design and Build.
